Certified training and digital strategy support
Alteredu starts its story in Calabria, a region where there is a strong need for digital skills and reduction of the digital divide.
Apart from being last in Europe in terms of digital skills, Calabria is also sadly at the top of the European rankings for the high number of young NEETs (Not in education, employment or training), i.e. people, especially young people, who are not employed and do not attend school, training or refresher courses.
Alteredu was created to respond to these problems. It is a social impact startup with the aim of providing skills and certifications to young Italians and making them competitive in the labour market. In its Course Catalogue, Alteredu offers numerous e-learning courses exclusively with certification, dedicated to anyone who wants to expand their skills, enrich their CV or obtain points for competitions.
Alteredu also supports new entrepreneurial initiatives, on the one hand with IT skills (from websites to digital communication strategies), and on the other hand with support in terms of subsidised finance and microcredit.
