Energy Efficiency for the Third Sector
The Energia Consapevole (Conscious Energy) project aims to guide Third Sector Entities (TSEs) through a simple, accessible, and tailored journey toward energy transition.
Energy efficiency represents not only a cost-saving opportunity for TSEs, but also a tool to strengthen their social mission, improve the quality of services offered, and make a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability.
Through end-to-end support and guidance on how to access available incentives, Energia Consapevole acts as a strategic ally for TSEs wishing to make their operations more sustainable.
Despite the clear advantages, many organizations remain hesitant to take this path. The main barriers include lack of funding, absence of in-house technical expertise, and the fact that many buildings are not owned by the organizations themselves.
In addition to these, there are less visible—but equally significant—obstacles: cognitive biases such as resistance to change, fear of upfront investment, or misperceptions about timelines.
The Energia Consapevole project also seeks to overcome the psychological and practical barriers that often prevent the adoption of innovative solutions, by promoting economically sustainable and accessible options.
As part of this initiative, BLUERE, in collaboration with SIT, Confini, and with the support of ENEA, is offering a three-part training course.
The webinars, starting in May, aim to provide practical tools and knowledge for implementing energy efficiency improvements, with a particular focus on available incentives and strategies to minimize financial impact (e.g., Conto Termico 3.0, Transition 5, and Renewable Energy Communities).
