Design and Implementation of a Training Program for Youth Social Entrepreneurship in Italy and Spain
This project aims to equip young people aged 23 to 27 with the tools and skills needed to develop entrepreneurial ideas that address real social challenges. The adopted approach combines theory, personalized mentoring, and hands-on field experiences.
The program unfolds in three main phases, each designed to meet specific training needs: deepening the core concepts of social innovation, engaging with sector experts, and gaining direct experience in real entrepreneurial contexts.
The first phase consists of a series of 10 online video lessons introducing the fundamentals of social enterprise design: from problem definition to idea validation and sustainability models. These lessons provide the theoretical foundation to support participants throughout the entire journey.
The second phase offers 10 hours of one-on-one mentoring. Participants are matched with professionals experienced in social innovation, who guide them in developing their project ideas and enhancing their feasibility. This is a time for direct exchange and tailored support.
The third phase brings a more immersive dimension through study trips between Italy and Spain. During these experiences, participants visit existing entrepreneurial ventures and interact with peers engaged in similar initiatives. These trips serve as moments of inspiration and exchange, while also fostering the creation of international networks.
The program concludes with a Pitch Day, where participants present their ideas to an audience of stakeholders, experts, and potential partners. This event represents the culmination of the program and the first testing ground for launching their initiatives.
