Community-driven food commerce for local regeneration
Venticinquanta Srl is an Italian innovative startup operating in the FoodTech and social commerce sector. The company created Weetico, a digital platform with integrated logistics designed to connect local food producers, Food Districts and organized communities through ethical and sustainable purchasing models. The project was born to address some structural inefficiencies of the traditional agri-food supply chain:
- low margins for producers
- excessive intermediation
- inefficient logistics
- weak territorial connection between consumers and local food ecosystems
Through Weetico, communities, associations, companies and local groups can become active purchasing networks connected directly with producers and territorial food hubs. The platform combines:
- social commerce
- community leadership
- territorial logistics
- ethical food sourcing
- digital tools for local economies
The operational model is based on collaboration with Italian Food Districts and Biodistricts, enabling scalable short supply chains and supporting local economic regeneration. Venticinquanta Srl developed both the technological infrastructure and the organizational model behind Weetico, integrating digital commerce, territorial logistics and community engagement into a single ecosystem.
